I wanted to sink into my second pregnancy, connect with other women & create space for me. This course really allowed me to sit with my thoughts & challenged me to think about/consider parts of my pregnancy & postpartum that I had not been consciously thinking about or putting off. I loved the journaling, this allowed me to connect with what I truly wanted & needed & helped me cultivate trust in myself & my intuition. Why this course, why now?


There has never been a more important time to come together, to recreate & rebuild 'The Village.'

An entire generation of women transitioned from maiden to mother through a pandemic. Alone, isolated, unable to have the pregnancy & birth experience they imagined & desperately deserve. Unable to access recourses, support groups or connect with other mothers.

Prior to the pandemic we have a generation that has forgotten how sacred this time is, there is little to no acknowledgement, understanding or appreciation as to what it takes to grow, birth & sustain human life as a mother in the modern world.

We are the only culture that does not honour this right of passage, if anything, we diminish in value & it has to stop.

Mothers are suffering. They are in pain. They are exhausted, overwhelmed, over stimulated & under supported but as with anything, change is possible. I know that the feminine is powerful, that rest is productive & that when we rise together in a true act of rebellion, in love, in light, in community, connection & collaboration we can & WILL dismantle history & rewrite herstory.

The best decision I made during my pregnancy was enrolling in Charlie's Prenatal Yoga and Wellness Program. Having experienced depression and anxiety for much of my adult life, an overwhelming fear I held was how I would cope with pregnancy, birth and beyond, particularly due to my increased risk of post natal depression. Charlie's program opened space for me to share, without judgement, my insecurities, fears and trepidations surrounding my journey, and equipped me with the skills to approach the journey of motherhood with confidence and positivity. She inspired me to realise that it takes a community to raise a child and offered supportive advice and journaling opportunities so that each woman in the group could feel a sense of preparedness when our bundles arrived. The yoga sessions were also incredibly empowering, allowing me to learn how to move my body safely during pregnancy, as well as alleviate pain during labour by trusting my intuition and body. Hey Beautiful Mama, I’m Charlie. your biggest advocate & loudest cheerleader. 

I’m a life & motherhood coach (I actually hate the word coach so lets say mentor) I’m a Matresence Activist & Educator, Yoga Teacher, Writer, Womens Circle Facilitator, spiritual realist & soon to be host of the Rebel Rising Podcast. 

Most importantly am mother to three active & crazy boys, Kobe 8, Mylo 3 & Ari almost 1. 

I have been mentoring, teaching & guiding women for almost a decade.  I am deeply committed & passionate about changing the way we view & experience motherhood in a modern world through community, connection, collaboration & real conversations.

FAQ

Is this live training?

No, these are pre recorded videos & self paced journaling practices. There is the intention to have LIVE monthly Women’s Circles of which will be assessed once we launch as to how logistically this will work with mamas joining from around the world. 

Do I need to have practiced yoga before?

No, these classes are suitable for all ages & stages of pregnancy. Many women are introduced to yoga through a prenatal program. I will say though that as your pregnancy progresses, if you develop SI (Sacroiliac Joint) pain or SPD (Pubic Symphesis Dysfunction) seek medical advice or ideally work with an instructor privately that can see your physical limitations. 

Do I need anything to begin?

Yes. Though you can use some things you have at home I highly recommend getting the appropriate props to fully support your practice. These can be purchased from yoga studios, online warehouses or in some cases budget retail stores. In this course I use a good quality mat, yoga blocks, strap & bolster (I highly highly recommend this) These props will then last year’s & chances are you will return to them again in for post partum practices or potentially future pregnancies. They are most certainly worth the small investment from the beginning. If you know you are IN on this course then head online & get ordering them NOW so they arrive ASAP.

How long is the course?

This is a personal choice, the course itself is designed from the second trimester onwards purely because In both my personal & professional experience adding any ‘additional’ things to do in the first trimester is challenging. Your body is changing so much in the early weeks, exhaustion & sickness is common & so I want you to rest rather than feel guilty for not diving right into the program. Haven said that, the classes are safe for all stages of pregnancy. 

What if I’m already well into my pregnancy?

You can join at any time, I still advise beginning from the beginning & perhaps working with less time between classes/intentions. You can make the course whatever you need it to be and change the order if you want to

Is this appropriate if I want a VBAC or C section?

 YES! This is an all inclusive course, the material in this course is about empowering you, we will discuss this more in the inner circle gatherings online also. There is only so much we can control in the natural arena of birth, I try to focus more on the areas we can control in terms of self care, post partum support etc rather than the birth itself because every women is different, every pregnancy & birth is different. There is NO right nor wrong here. It is a place of absolute support, none judgment or expectation. 

Do I have to be ‘spiritual’?

 No, there are no labels or dogma here. You are you, I advise that you take what resonates and simply leave the rest behind. There may be things that don’t align or that you don’t agree with, leave that & lean into the areas that really resonate

Does this provide 1:1 support from you?

 No, though it is my intention to host online inner circles for this program as I genuinely believe when women come together at this time, magic happens. This is an unfolding part of the course that I cannot fully visualize until we are live & the course is running. But besides the inner circles, there is no direct one on one time with me. You can however leave comments in the course container & I will work through those & do my best to manage this. I am however in the process of creating more courses, self paced, small group coaching & 1:1 programs.

How long do I have access to this course?

How long do I have access to this course? Forever, this is lifetime access for you to enjoy throughout this & potentially other pregnancies. You will also automatically gain access to all changes, improvements & additions to this course as over time it will naturally evolve. There will be no additional charges.

The mamas that have access to this information the better. We ask that you don't share your account, however you can share AND earn $$ through out affiliate program.
